Glazed Raku Pear

This hand made clay fruit is a result of an ancient Japanese ceramic technique, dating back to the 16th century. Raku means ‘pleasure’ or ‘enjoyment’ and indeed these unique pieces will be a pleasure to have in your home. Once the product is made, it is glazed that gives it a smooth surface and adds life time to it. These fruits come in a recyclable wooden box. Since the colour and the spots come with the smoke & the fire, no two fruits look the same. Making each fruit one of it’s kind.
