In a proverbial way, we all do judge a book by it’s cover, a lot many times than we would like to accept. LIGHTING
You got to have a good light fixture at the entrance, for your guests to walk in. Obviously not a 100 watt bulb but surely good enough for you to look into your purse and get the keys. Or at least for people to read the name on the door to know that they are walking into the right one. Have a good LED fixture to save money on the bill and keep make the switch two way so that you can access it from inside the house as well. Wish to go fancy? Then go for the light with movement sensor, as soon as you would have any one moving in the front the light will get on for a particular period of time.

They say an address is everything, the shorter it is, more influential you are meant to be. For example 7 Lok Kalyan Marg or 10 Downing Street. Even if it is not that short, the point is that it has to be easily visible to every one. You can go for back lit metal numbers or hand painted tile signage. Stone engraved or just brass lettering. The point is, it has to be an easy to read font and it should be clear in the day and the night both.

So many of you might feel hesitant to even try this option, but I keep telling people that you do not have to have a vertical garden or 20 small hanging pots to make an entrance. But just having the right plants would do. Go for something easy to handle, something like a money plant. Just water it ones in a day or two and that should do. Having a plant around makes the entrance feel alive.
